Imagine a place where kids can
gather without the distractions of today’s hectic world. A place where
they feel connected and accepted by others, have the confidence to take on new
challenges and try new things and where they have the opportunity to interact
and make friends with people who are different from them. This place is
called camp! 4-H Campers have the opportunity to participate in daily
workshops, nightly events including talent shows, campfires, scavenger hunts
and the usual camp activities such as games, swimming, and canoeing. The
mission of camp is to help each individual camper gain skills that help them
achieve a strong self-concept, self-responsibility, and an ability to get along
with peers.
