The 4-H National Headquarters, US Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) is pleased to announce that the following 6 youth have been selected out of 31 applicants to participate in the National 4-H Conference Youth Leadership Team: Brittany Avant-Florida, Sergio Martinez-Beltran-Puerto Rico, Kelsey Kannenberg-Wisconsin, Haley Lundeby-Idaho, Stephen McFall-Pennsylvania, and Rachel Wise-Florida. The Youth Leadership Team will be responsible for hosting meetings, leading group activities, providing training, along with many other leadership opportunities.
The conference will be held in Washington, DC from 24-29 March 2012. This is an excellent opportunity for these 4-H members to gain leadership skills, knowledge on becoming an advocate in their schools and communities, as well as the chance to interact with their State Senators. Congratulations to the 4-H Conference Youth Leadership Team on their selection!
